JUDICAL EXPERIENCE

In 2018, the citizens of Galveston County elected Judge Foley to County Court at Law No. 2 by an overwhelming margin.  As a seasoned judge, Kerri brought her years of judicial and legal expertise to the position.  Judge Foley runs County Court No. 2 with fairness, accountability and compassion.  Kerri operates the Court in a fair, highly-efficient and fiscally-conservative manner.  As your Judge in County Court No. 2, Judge Foley presides over thousands of cases, including family, juvenile, criminal and civil.

Kerri Foley has been a Judge in our community for nearly 20 years.  Prior to being elected to County Court No. 2, Judge Foley presided over a variety of courts in Galveston County – including the juvenile court, the magistrate court and numerous municipal courts countywide.  In 2013, when another County Court was in need of an experienced Judge, County Officials turned to Judge Foley.  Judge Foley restored justice, order and integrity to that Court. With her diverse and extensive judicial experience, Kerri Foley is the candidate best qualified to run County Court No. 2.

For over 20 years, Kerri Foley has been an active, contributing member of the Galveston County community.  Kerri is an involved partner in many civic organizations and has participated in countless charitable and community advancing events.

Judge Foley has spent her career in Galveston County, working first as a criminal prosecutor, then as a judge in our municipal, juvenile and county courts.  Kerri has dedicated her professional life to the citizens of this community, ensuring that they are safe, protected and treated fairly in the judicial system.

Kerri shares your conservative values.  Long before it was popular to call yourself “conservative,” Kerri was an active and contributing member of the Galveston County Republican Party.  Over the past 20 years, Kerri has taken an especially active role in helping Galveston County expand its Conservative base. She is a long time member of numerous Republican organizations and formerly an Officer in Clear Creek Republican Women (2011-2013).
